Manage Weekent Courses

Most language schools only run courses from Monday to Friday.

We always thought it would be a good idea to support Saturdays and Sundays but we did not want to clutter the user interface if it was not necessary.

But in the last couple of weeks, we have been in touch with schools that teach classes over the weekend. They need to keep track of weekend enrollment and record attendances accordingly.

We decided the right time has come to enable Saturday and Sunday support in NiftySchool.

You can enable the new option from the configuration screen:

Once the option is enabled, a few screens will be updated:

You can select Saturdays and Sundays when setting up a class.

The attendance calendar will show the full week.

If your school is closed on the weekend, just leave the new option turned off and your screens will remain as you know them.

This ensures that you can use the full functionality if desired, but keeps the interface clean and uncluttered if you are not interested.
