Speedup Teachers Schedule Management with Defaults

Some schools keep the teachers schedule very flexible. Many Callan schools for example swap teachers frequently during the duration of their courses and need to assign them on a per-lesson basis.

Flexibility comes at a price though, as you need to assign teachers for each and every lesson.

We just added a new feature so that you can specify a default teacher for a class.

The system will assign teachers to the right class automatically when a default for the class is specified.

For each one of your classes, go to the details page, and choose a teacher from the dropdown:

Then, go to your theachers schedule page, and click on the ‘Assign default teachers and save’ button, to automatically update the schedule.

Weekly and monthly reports will be automatically updated as well:

You can also assign all of the lessons to the default teachers and manually amend the specific lessons that need changing.

This does considerably speed up teachers schedule management, and still gives you the flexibility of the per-lesson assignments.

This works for both standard and Callan method classes.
