A Printout Of Your Daily Room Allocation For Your Students And Teachers To See
— Aug 31, 2011
This morning we released a small feature that a few customers have been requesting for a long while.
NiftySchool provides a clear representation of how the rooms in your school are used during the day: we call it the ‘Room Planner’.

The room planner is useful to spot double bookings in your rooms or to quickly tell students and teachers where they are supposed to go for a lesson.
The problem is, you cannot stick your monitor to the wall, and most browsers cannot decently print such a complex page.
So we decided to add a printing functionality to it.
You can now print the room planner in PDF format and stick it to the reception door or message board!

Click on the printer icon on the right hand side of the ‘Room planner’ screen to download and print the PDF.
This is how the printed version looks like:
Click on the image to see the PDF version. The printed version automatically includes your school’s name and logo.
By printing this every day, and putting it in a visible spot, you will minimize the amount of questions that your students and teachers will ask at the reception.
We hope you find this update useful.
Should you have comments or suggestion to improve this feature, feel free to drop us a note at info@niftyschool.com. Enjoy!
